Reduce, Reuse, Redecorate!

One of our favorite things here at Fresh Impressions is using up old stuff to redecorate -- with style of course! Check out this wonderful dresser that Kelly painted and is now using as a buffet in her eat-in kitchen. Isn't the color wild!? That seems to be one of the tricks with repainting old things, pick a color that wasn't originally intended for the piece, see how the color looks in that spot in your house and go for it!! The bonus came when she was trying to figure out what to do on the wall over the newly painted buffet. Her husband's family used to own cattle and awhile back Kelly's mother-in-law, Donna, made this sign for the ranch. It's been in the attic for more than a few years, until now. The perfect blend of family memories and a new use for an old thing, hit her one night and Kel sent her husband tromping through the attic. Using things we already have, and stuff that means something to our families, is a blast. Head over to our Reduce, Reuse, Redecorate Pinterest Board board for more ideas on how to use old stuff in a new way. Have a great day!

FAQ -- "Why doesn't Fresh Impressions use the 'design-it-yourself' software on your website?" Answer: The software for the design-it-yourself tool costs about $50,000. We'd rather hire another designer to work on our team. The economy has been tough on a lot of people. Let's build jobs where we can!
